Liam Printer
Liam Printer can talk some shit!... And not just in English, this guy could talk shit to you in a verity of different language if you wish. But what he's better at doing is snowboarding, and thats when the shit talking stops, and actual shit goes down... Tricks we mean.
name: Liam Printer
from: Westport, Mayo.
hit the snow first: I first hit the snow in 2000 on a skiing (yep, I was a skier one day) holiday with my family. Skied for a few years and started boarding properly while doing a season in La Plagne, France in 2002/2003.
how'd you get into it: My brother in law and my sister had started boarding so I was easily persuaded to drop my skis for a board..
board: Capita Mid Life Theory 155, Option Redline 154, Burton Canyon 163
first: I learned on my gigantic Burton Canyon 163!
now: Mainly ride my Capita 155 now but am in the market for a new one...
______favorites______
pic from NZ trip: My favourite pic from NZ has to be one of the Treble Cone days of us riding powder with all the lakes in the background
trick you got down on tape: Eh.. either the backside 360 melon or the 270 on and off the box in Snowpark
video from NZ trip: Definately the Snoprk
video part: Love Simon Chamberlain section in DC MTN Lab and the tree tap session in Thats It Thats All
movie: Afterlame, Afterbang, Stack Footy and Thats It Thats All.
music: Most of the music from snowboard movies - Ratatat, LCD Soundsystem, Afterlame soundtrack, MGMT, Justice. Not to mention all the great bands I was introduced to in NZ - Ida Maria, Blue Ghost, Shout Out Louds etc
riding: Love riding powder when its available but otherwise you'll probably catch me in the park or jibbing around on piste. Actually, I love the whole mountain to be honest.
number one item to pack in your bag: The latest version of Football Manager.
other interests: Playing the guitar, football manager of course, capoeira, surfing, travelling, languages..
worst moment: Snowboarding?? - nearly getting hit by a piste basher while doing a jump in a closed off boardercross in Spain or living with the Kilkenny lads. (who was it that left that mysterious bowl of cereal..)
best moment: Just riding with friends... That day in Les Arcs that we rode the powder all day and then built the kicker at night was amaong the best days ever in snowboarding for me.
life advice: Reduce, reuse, recycle!!
